It is the anomaly here... …:=) The situation is that you do not get a bank account unless you work. If you have a friend you can send your wages for a certain time to his account, in the opposite case you have to sort out quickly your bank account and it means in this way that you "get employed", your employer will give you instead of trasfer to the bank account cash ballance or cheque, but mainly he has to set up a letter for a concrete bank (with induction of the address of the branch of the bank) with a statement that you work for him. Your bank is likely on the basis of your request for opening account and on the basis of this letter to open your bank account …. Cheques, which you receive instead of transfer to the bank account, are impossible to transfer in the bank to the cash ballance …. it means you need your bank account again.Worker Registration Scheme (WRS)
This is a „work permit“. This is rather the thing of order for british offices. The WRS coupled with the National Insurance number is the most important formality which you have to settle up in the UK. But stay cool because it is very simple … WRS – you have to settle up for each employer separately, but the very first WRS is the most complicated, the next is just a formality of „one letter“. The first WRS you sort out like this. You will ask your employer for a letter confirming your employement with your employer. You will put this letter together with £ 50 or already £ 75? and your passport (indeed!) to the envelope and you will post this to the address of the Home Office – but look out by registered post! To get your NI takes a bit longer than to get a WRS, usually 2-3 months... NI is actually some kind of identification number under which the Dapartement for Work Pensions evidence your contributions to the social systém. So if you are asking for the childrens allowance, buroo and so on the offices are looking on the status of your account under the NI. He should pension as well? Practically you submit a petition for NI to the local Job Centre, you fill in the form and you wait... for a phone call, where some bumble makes an appointment with you in the Job Centre. To the appointment you will bring your passport, wage slips and so on. So you fill this bureaucracy and go home …. and again you wait till they assign you the NI number. When this happens than you will say it to each your employer and that is the whole hoot... If you get this NI number you are able to use this forever, it means if you leave the UK and after some time you come back again to work you will use the same NI …The health insurance
If you are leaving for some of the EU countries you should settle up the European health insurance card and to become a self payer of the insurance. Than you are entitled as a citizen of EU to the free „urgent“ care. If you stay to work in the UK you should get in touch with the Czech health insurance company and to sign off to the date where you started to work in the UK. If you work in the UK you are entitled to the free medical care. If you loose your work in the UK than register by the Czech health insurance company. In order to communicate in the best way with the Czech health insurance company use the email communication and the help of your family in the Czech Republic.
